As part of our ongoing commitment to charitable causes, Lucas Fettes Financial Planning held a purple-themed picnic to raise money for our headline charity: Nelson’s Journey. Nelson’s Journey is a Norfolk-based charity that supports children and young people who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives.
Event highlights
The Picnic took place on Thursday 19 July at midday so our team was able to enjoy an extended lunch break and a delicious buffet of picnic goods. The competitive spirit came out in full force as staff members challenged each other to various games – from the ring toss to a nail-biting game of giant Jenga.

We were joined in the fundraising efforts by Gary and Kirsty, from Nelson’s Journey, who gave a short talk to attendees about the charity’s work over the last 25 years of operation.
Along with this, Gary helped to announce the lucky winners of the raffle. Congratulations to Alice, Katie, and Rebecca – we hope you enjoy your prizes!

Supporting Nelson’s Journey
Through generous donations and raffle entries, our staff raised £277. This will be used to provide a range of resources and professional help for children who are going through the difficult process of bereavement. We would like to extend a thank you to each member of our team who took part.
