Mark Brown

Mark Brown

Managing Director

Mark has been with Lucas Fettes since July 2000. Formerly with Norwich Union (now Aviva) he has a broad background in Financial Services, Management and Leadership. As a Director of the Lucas Fettes Group holding company, and Board member of its trading subsidiaries, Mark has gained significant operational and commercial experience in supporting the group’s growth and development.

Following the sale of the Lucas Fettes General Insurance business Mark is now focused on the leadership and development of Lucas Fettes Financial Planning for the benefit of its clients, employees and shareholders alike.

Likes: Family (wife and 3 lads), keeping fit (triathlon) and listening to music. 

Dislikes: Negativity and an unwillingness to help.

Robin Lucas

Robin Lucas

Robin is Founding Director and Chairman of Lucas Fettes Financial Planning

Robin began his career in the early 1970s as a Trainee Broker with Cooper Gay and went on to become a Lloyd’s Reinsurance Broker with PWS. He founded Lucas Fettes with David Fettes in 1980. The business grew from one site and six staff to nine offices throughout the UK, employing over 200 people and with specialisms in a range of areas. After selling his shares in Lucas Fettes & Partners in 2017, Robin was part of a management buy-out to form LF Financial Planning.

Robin is married to Clare and has two children and six grandchildren.

Richard Heighton

Richard Heighton

Director

After 10 years working for Sun Alliance Richard became a director of Lucas Fettes and has been instrumental in the growth of the Lucas Fettes Group. Richard is a general insurance specialist with particular expertise in professional negligence covers and business insurances but was originally dual qualified and has always had a keen interest in financial planning and investment.

Likes: Richard is a keen fell walker and has played many sports winning squash and racketball championships at club level but his passion is riding motorcycles, especially off-road and preferably in unspoilt parts of the world.

Dislikes: Bureaucracy, apathy and lack of effort / wasted talent.

Neil Clarke

Neil Clarke

Director

Neil has worked in Financial Services since leaving School, initially joining Scottish Life ( now Royal London ) with whom he worked until 1996 having become an Area Sales Manager. He then went on to become a Director of a local IFA in Berkhamsted joining Lucas Fettes in 2005.

Since becoming an IFA in 1996 Neil has focused upon delivering financial planning, and is passionate about ensuring we understand the clients hopes and desires matching the financial planning to meet those objectives.

Neil’s role as a Director is to help secure the future for the business through appropriate growth ensuring clients best interests are the focus of attention. Outside of Financial Services, Neil has been Chair of the local Life and Pensions Society and is presently Chair of Governors at a Buckinghamshire Primary School.

Likes: Family, sport (keen on keeping fit), learning and reading.

Dislikes: Bureaucracy, being late and arrogance.

 

Graham Moore

Director

Graham has been with Lucas Fettes since 1998. He offers a holistic approach to financial planning, helping clients successfully navigate life’s journey and meet their financial objectives. He takes the time to understand the needs of every client, and provides financial advice to a wide and varied range of clients – some of whom have been with him for over thirty years.

Graham is a Chartered Financial Planner and can offer comprehensive financial advice. He is CII G60 (pensions) certified and a retirement planning specialist.

Likes: Graham is a proud father of two grown-up boys, and has a keen interest in football. He is a qualified football coach (level 2) and referee.

Dislikes: Grumpiness – life is too short.

Ian Burrows

Director

Ian has worked in financial services since 1989. In more recent terms Ian commenced working for Waveney McKenna Financial Services in 2005 and helped establish Waveney McKenna in 2007 combining the clients of the Peterborough office of Waveney Financial Services and McKenna Associates.

The success of Waveney resulted in additional resource requirements which were best serviced in moving the business to Lucas Fettes for whom Ian worked prior to Waveney.

Being with Lucas Fettes has greatly improved the service options for clients and going forwards the Financial Services proposition will be developed significantly, continually improving for both clients and staff.

Likes: Family time.

Dislikes: Anything starting with a hashtag and queuing.

 

Jane Hudson

Jane Hudson

Operations Director

Jane has worked within financial services for over 32 years, undertaking management roles in the IFA sector for the majority of this time. Jane has extensive experience with all aspects of the financial planning services and is also a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

Ensuring that client servicing is delivered to the highest standards and encouraging colleagues to achieve their best, via both professional qualifications and personal development are both key elements of Jane’s role within Lucas Fettes.

Likes: Jane enjoys going to the gym, travelling abroad, as well as “getting away from it all” hiking in the UK’s fabulous National Parks.

Dislikes: Jane dislikes lazy people, road works and bad drivers.
